YouTube sensation and online personality Trisha Paytas gave birth to her third child, a son, on July 12, 2025, and named him Aquaman Moses Paytas‑Hacmon. The reveal occurred during the July 22 broadcast of her podcast Just Trish, when she dramatically announced his name by unzipping a closet to reveal an Aquaman graphic T-shirt, with a superhero action figure beside it.

The Name Reveal – Aquaman Moses

Paytas and her artist husband, Moses Hacmon, said that the decision was symbolic. The two are fans of water—Paytas a longtime Aquaman film and comic book fan, and Hacmon because of his experience of taking photos of water-based structures. The couple also factored in water symbolism in their baby’s zodiac sign—Cancer, a water sign.

During the unveiling, Trisha highlighted the full name: “Aquaman, not Aqua or Agua,” teasing that she had to remind employees who tried to refer to the name as short or incorrectly transcribed. Moses attested that he overheard Trisha screaming “Aquaman!” in the delivery room.

This offbeat name is part of a trend: Trisha’s first two children are Malibu Barbie (September 2022) and Elvis (May 2024). This pop culture connection is one both to delight fans and provoke criticism.

Public Reaction

Fans and pundits were divided: some praised her imagination and bold iconoclasm, while others were concerned about the social ramifications of such a daring name. On Reddit, comments ranged from fierce criticism…

“All 3 of her children’s names are dreadful.”
“I hope so for their sakes.”

…but others stood up for her right to do what she wanted with names.

Behind the Scenes: The Inspiration

Trisha said they brainstormed other options such as “Watersnake” or “Water” before eventually settling on “Aquaman”—a choice strengthened when a poster in a doctor’s office later included the character, which they felt like fate.
