Mike Graham: What’s Happened and Where Is He Now After the TalkTV Scandal

Published on October 23, 2025 by Henry Ashford

I switched on TalkTV on Wednesday morning, expecting to hear Mike Graham on his usual Morning Glory show. Instead, there’s Jeremy Kyle sat in his chair. Thought I’d got the wrong channel for a second. Then I checked Mike Graham’s Twitter and saw the absolute carnage.

Turns out Mike Graham posted something properly racist on Facebook Sunday night or at least, his account did. Now he’s claiming he got hacked. TalkTV suspended him. Jeremy Kyle’s taken over his show. And where is Mike Graham today? Well, the answer’s now clear: he’s been sacked.

On Wednesday, 12th November 2024, News UK – TalkTV’s parent company – officially confirmed that Mike Graham will not be returning to Talk. The company released a statement saying Graham had “repeatedly failed to cooperate” with their internal investigation into the racist Facebook post. According to News UK, Graham had initially agreed to work with an independent forensic firm to investigate the hacking claim, but then “reneged on several opportunities to cooperate with the company investigation.” The statement concluded: “We have been gravely concerned at his repeated failure to cooperate on such a serious matter and the decision has been taken that Mike Graham will not return to Talk.”

Let me tell you what’s actually happened here because it’s been mental.

What Got Posted

Mike Graham shared a photo of a Churchill statue with another photo on his Facebook page (Image: Sunday 20th October 2025, Mike Graham’s Facebook account). The caption read, “Compare and contrast. ‘ Tell me we’re not f***ed by multicultural b***cks. ‘Why are we surrounded by non-white people? Just f*** off…’

Proper vile stuff, that. The sort of thing that leads you to be sacked on the spot. Which is basically what happened.

What was causing people to be suspicious? The Churchill statue image was identical to one Mike Graham had shared on his Mike Graham Twitter account just minutes before. What are the chances a hacker would get that precise photo he’d just shared?

Pretty convenient, isn’t it?

Mike’s Version of Events

Graham wrote on Mike Graham’s Twitter on Monday morning that his Facebook account was hacked. Wrote that the post had included “words that I would never write and an opinion that I don’t share.” He said he deleted it right away and increased his computer security.

He said, essentially, “I’m sorry. I’m ‘mortified’ that it was sent out under my name, and I apologise to ‘anyone this may have offended.’” Fair enough if he genuinely got hacked. But people aren’t buying it. The timing with that Churchill photo? Too suspicious. Plus Graham’s had previous controversies that make people think this might’ve been him.

The problem was, Graham’s cooperation with the investigation didn’t last long. According to News UK, after initially agreeing to work with independent forensic experts who could have verified whether his account was genuinely compromised, Graham repeatedly refused to cooperate. This refusal to work with the investigators ultimately sealed his fate.

His History of Controversial Statements

This isn’t Mike Graham’s first rodeo with controversy. The bloke’s been in hot water that many times.

He caused controversy back in 2020 when he referred to Celtic FC as “the paedo’s football club” on Twitter. Proper out of order, that.

In 2021, he had that notorious chat with Cameron Ford, the climate change protester from Insulate Britain. Graham said you could “grow concrete” like you grow trees. The clip went viral. The man got torn to pieces for it. He reaffirmed his statements later on Jeremy Kyle’s show.

In 2022, he falsely asserted that Mind, the mental health charity, was funding legal fees for asylum seekers. Mike Graham TalkTV had to make an official public apology for that.

In 2023 Mike Graham TalkTV was made to pay “substantial damages” to charity Migrants Organise after Graham referred to them as “human traffickers” on his show. That’s defamation and it cost the channel proper money.

So when this racist Facebook post popped up, the default reaction wasn’t “no way, must be a hacker.” It was more like, “Yeah, sounds like something he’d say.”

What TalkTV Did

TalkTV acted fast. By Wednesday, Graham was off air. Jeremy Kyle stepped in to present Morning Glory. The channel confirmed Graham’s “taking a break” from the breakfast show but won’t say when or if he’s coming back.

Some reports say he’s been suspended pending an investigation. Others say he’s been sacked outright. Nobody from TalkTV or Global (the company that owns them) is giving straight answers.

News UK’s statement made it clear this wasn’t just about the post itself – it was about Graham’s refusal to engage with the investigation. The company described the Facebook post as “abhorrent and vile” and said they had brought in independent forensic experts to determine what had actually happened. But Graham’s repeated failure to cooperate left them with no choice.

Where is Mike Graham today? He probably sat at home wondering if his career’s finished. And honestly? It might be.

Who Is Mike Graham Anyway?

For those unaware, Mike Graham was born on 9 August 1960 in Hampstead, London. He’s 65 now. His father was a newspaper graphic artist called Archibald, and his mother was Mairi McAleavey. Both Scottish.

He attended the University of Bath but did not graduate. Began journalism in Fleet Street and spent 25 years there. Edited the Scotland Daily Mirror. He also served as assistant editor of the Daily Express. He reported on the Bosnian War in 1992. Lived in New York, 1984-92. Moved to radio in 2006, working for Talk 107 in Scotland. Then TalkSport. Did a show, “The Two Mikes”, with Mike Parry for years. That came to an end in 2019 when they had a falling out.

Since then, he’s been doing solo shows on TalkRadio and Mike Graham Talk TV. His show was Morning Glory and ran on weekday mornings between 6am and 10am, and seemed quite popular with the sort of people who like right-wing shouty opinions about immigrants and wokeness.

Mike Graham Wife and Family

Mike Graham wife is called Koren Corradi. They got married in 2004 after meeting in 1994 at a Boyzone dance tour where she was a dancer. Graham keeps his family pretty private, which is sensible given the stuff he says on air. Can’t imagine his wife’s thrilled about this latest scandal. Having your husband accused of racism on Facebook and losing his job? That’s got to be stressful.

The TalkTV Shambles

This comes at a terrible time for TalkTV. The channel’s been struggling for ages. They stopped linear broadcasts back in summer 2024 and moved to an online-only format. Viewing figures have been awful. Piers Morgan’s show left for YouTube in February 2024.

Graham’s show got moved around loads. Started in the morning slot, got bumped to evenings when Julia Hartley-Brewer took over mornings in November 2023, then came back to mornings. The channel’s been a mess organisationally.

Now one of their main presenters is suspended for alleged racism. That’s not a good look when you’re trying to build an audience and get advertisers on board.

The sacking comes as News UK attempts to professionalise TalkTV’s image after a string of on-air controversies. The channel, which is part of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire, has faced increasing pressure from regulators, advertisers, and corporate compliance teams to maintain stricter brand-safety standards.

The Public Reaction

Mike Graham Twitter has been buzzing since this occurred. People are either defending him and saying he’s been hacked or tearing him to pieces and saying that’s par for the course with what he believes anyway.

The hacking charge doesn’t stand up too well. That picture of Churchill was the identical one he’d just shared? It is too much of a coincidence. And his history of questionable statements has people thinking this is just who he is.

Some think he posted it intentionally, faced backlash, panicked and then claimed to have been hacked. Others theorise instead that he meant to post it in a private group but accidentally posted it publicly. In any case, it doesn’t look great for him.

And his refusal to cooperate with the forensic investigation has only made things worse. If he’d genuinely been hacked, most people reckon he’d have jumped at the chance to prove it with independent experts. The fact that he didn’t has led many to conclude the hacking story was rubbish from the start.

What Happens Next

Where is Mike Graham today? Sacked, definitely. Career in tatters. But not giving up just yet.

On the same day his sacking was announced – Wednesday, 12th November – Graham released his own statement on Substack and X (formerly Twitter). He wrote: “It is with a mix of fond memories and excitement that I share this update with you all. After an incredible journey as the presenter of Morning Glory on TalkTV my time at the station has come to an end – more on that in the coming days.”

Graham announced he’s launching The Mike Graham Show on YouTube, set to debut on 1st December 2024. He said the new platform would be “a space where I can continue to serve the public in the ways that have always driven me – holding politicians to account, highlighting injustices wherever they arise, and being a relentless voice for those who feel ignored or overlooked by the government.”

So there’s your answer. He’s not retiring quietly. He’s going independent, launching his own YouTube channel where he won’t have corporate oversight or News UK compliance teams breathing down his neck.

Jeremy Kyle’s taken over his show and might keep it permanently.

If Graham really did get hacked, he needs to prove it fast. Show the police report. Get cyber security experts to confirm it. Otherwise, people will assume he’s lying.

Well, he had the chance to prove it with independent forensic experts and didn’t take it. That tells you everything you need to know.

If he didn’t get hacked? If that post was genuinely him? Then his career in broadcasting is finished. You can’t come back from that. No channel will touch him. He’ll be done.

I’ve been listening to talk radio for years. Graham was always controversial. Always saying stuff that made you wince a bit. But this? This crosses a line you can’t come back from. TalkTV will probably let him go quietly. Pay him off, make him sign an NDA, and announce he’s “pursuing other opportunities”. That’s how these things usually work.

Or they might just sack him outright if they think he’s lying about the hacking. Depends on what their investigation finds.
Well, they did sack him. And from News UK’s statement, it’s clear they think he was lying. The “repeated failure to cooperate” language is damning. They’re basically saying: we gave you multiple chances to prove you were hacked, you refused, so we’re done with you.

Where Is Mike Graham Today – The Real Answer

Where is Mike Graham today? At home with Mike Graham wife Koren, planning his YouTube comeback and probably working out the details of his exit package from News UK. His show’s gone. Jeremy Kyle’s in his chair. Mike Graham Twitter mentions are full of people calling him a racist or mocking him.

The official statement from News UK makes it clear there’s no way back. Graham’s repeated refusal to cooperate with the investigation was the final straw. Whether there’ll be a severance package or legal wrangling behind the scenes, we don’t know. But his employment with Talk is definitely over.

But Graham’s not going quietly. He’s positioning himself as a voice for “those who feel ignored or overlooked” and launching his own independent platform. Whether his YouTube channel will attract a substantial audience remains to be seen. He’s 65 with a tarnished reputation and serious questions hanging over his head about that Facebook post.

The YouTube venture could work – there’s definitely an audience for controversial right-wing commentators who feel they’ve been “cancelled” by mainstream media. GB News and similar outlets have shown there’s a market for it. But building a successful independent platform at 65, with this scandal hanging over you, won’t be easy.

Graham has already set up a Substack newsletter called “The Mike Graham Show” where he’s promising “the new home of common sense.” He’s clearly aiming to tap into the audience that feels mainstream media has become too politically correct. Whether subscribers will pay for content from someone who couldn’t clear his name when given the opportunity is another question entirely.

Either way, his days as a mainstream broadcaster are over. One Facebook post, hacked or not, ended a 40-year career. That’s how fast it happens now. Whether you think he deserves it depends on whether you believe the hacking claim. I’m not sure I do. And clearly, News UK didn’t believe it either. His refusal to prove it with forensic experts sealed his fate. But I reckon we’ll never know the full truth.

What we do know is Mike Graham won’t be on your telly or radio anymore. He’ll be on YouTube instead, launching The Mike Graham Show in the coming weeks. Jeremy Kyle’s got his show. His mainstream broadcasting career’s done. And honestly? After all his previous controversies, maybe that’s not the worst thing.

Or maybe, just maybe, he’ll find a second act on YouTube. Stranger things have happened. But one thing’s certain: he won’t be cooperating with any more corporate investigations. On his own platform, he answers to no one but himself and his audience. Whether that’s a good thing or a disaster waiting to happen, we’ll find out soon enough. His supporters say he’s been unfairly cancelled. His critics say he finally faced consequences for years of controversial statements. The truth, as always, probably lies somewhere in between – but with Graham refusing to cooperate with the investigation, we’ll likely never know for certain what really happened that October night.
